Terms of Use
Effective October 1, 2026
Thanks for using Actiograph. These terms are the deal between you and us. “We” and “us” mean Yuval Munz, an independent developer in Ontario, Canada, who builds and runs Actiograph. “Actiograph” means the phone app and the web app at app.actiograph.com. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Actiograph is in beta, it’s free, and it comes with a limit on our liability. Please read the last two sections.
Who can use it
- You must be 13 or older. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian should know you’re using it and agree to these terms.
- During the beta, Actiograph is for people living in Canada outside Quebec.
- You must be a person. No accounts made by bots or scripts.
- One account per person, for your own application. You’re responsible for keeping access to your email safe, since that’s how you sign in.
Your content
Everything you put into Actiograph stays yours: activities, reflections, grades, drafts, and files. You let us store and process it only to run the app for you, as the Privacy Policy describes. We claim no ownership of it.
When you add content, you agree that:
- Patients stay anonymous. You won’t enter anything that could identify a patient or client, like a name, room number, or a diagnosis tied to a person.
- Verifiers agreed. You only add a verifier’s contact details if you’re allowed to share them for your application.
- It’s yours to upload. Files you import are your own documents.
The AI assistant
Reflect, import, and session summaries use Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. When you use them:
- It’s an AI, not a person. It can be wrong or make things up. Check anything that matters.
- Your application is yours. The assistant helps you recall and describe your own real experiences. It won’t write your application. The OMSAS declaration says your application must be true, complete, and correct, and some schools prohibit AI-written content. Following those rules is your responsibility.
- Use it for your application.Don’t try to make it produce harmful content or get around its limits. It may refuse off-topic requests, and daily limits apply.
Not advice, and no guarantees about admission
Actiograph is a tracking and reflection tool. It is not admissions, medical, legal, or academic advice. GPA conversions, OMSAS summaries, school checklists, and deadlines are our best effort to mirror official sources, and they can be out of date or wrong. Check everything against OMSAS and each school before you submit. Using Actiograph doesn’t improve or guarantee your chances of admission.
Actiograph is not affiliated with or endorsed by OUAC, OMSAS, or any medical school. We use their names only to describe what the app helps with.
Things you can't do
- Break the law, or help someone else break it.
- Store content that harasses, threatens, or exploits anyone.
- Try to reach other people’s data, or get around our security.
- Scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Copy, resell, or rebrand Actiograph or its design.
Ending your account
- You can delete your account any time from Profile (in the app or on the web), or by emailing support@actiograph.com. Your data is erased as the Privacy Policy describes, and we can’t get it back after that.
- We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where it’s safe to, we’ll tell you why first and give you a chance to export your data.
Changes to the app and these terms
Beta means things change. We may add, change, or remove features, or end the beta. If we plan to shut Actiograph down, we’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice to export your data.
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we’ll update the date at the top and tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Using Actiograph after that means you accept the new terms. Actiograph is free during the beta. If we ever charge, it will be for plans you choose, with their own terms, and never by surprise.
As is, and our liability
We build Actiograph with care and fix the bugs we hear about, especially anything touching privacy or security. But it’s beta software, provided “as is” and “as available”, without promises that it will be error-free, always online, or right for your needs. Keep your own copy of anything you can’t afford to lose.
To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses from using Actiograph or not being able to use it, including lost data, missed deadlines, or admission outcomes. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100 (Canadian). Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can’t be waived, including under Ontario consumer protection law.
The rest
- These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Ontario.
- If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we haven’t given it up.
- Questions about these terms: support@actiograph.com.
